The formulation of Method Mass has been designed for gym users and field athletes who need that bit of help with weight/mass gain. Method Mass provides a high-calorie formula in the form of a milkshake style of drink, containing high levels of carbohydrates, calories and whey protein per serving. We recognise that in the sport of weight training/bodybuilding, some participants can struggle with gaining weight (gym users with high metabolic rates & physically high-functioning people who tend to burn more calories than average), and part of the basics of gaining weight/muscle building is to place your calorie intake into a surplus (increasing calories above body weight calorie maintenance level). We believe a ratio of 4:1 carbohydrates to protein is a sufficient amount for a weight-gaining shake. Within this carefully formulated product, there were a few key factors we aimed to accomplish. Convenience was a key factor for Method Mass, and our aim was to create a product that was highly soluble, instantiated once mixed and easy to consume. Taste was also a major factor, like most of our products we eagerly explored the area of flavour technology aiming to deliver that “refreshing milkshake” style of drink where our customers are eager to drink something that is nutritious and of benefit for muscle building and muscle recovery.
